umovingu Limited is the company behind the Property Passport and the umovingu platform. We are registered in England and Wales, Company No. 13321548. Our registered address is 116 Yardley Road, Birmingham, B27 6LG.
When this policy refers to “we”, “us” or “umovingu”, it means umovingu Limited. For UK data protection purposes, umovingu Limited is the data controller. Our contact email is hello@umovingu.io. If anything is unclear, email us and we will explain it.

03 Our legal basis for using your information
- Contractual necessity — when you sign up for a Property Passport or early access, we process your information to provide the service you asked for.
- Legitimate interests — we analyse how our website is used to improve it. We have balanced this against your privacy rights and believe our interest is reasonable.
- Consent — if you agree to receive marketing emails, we will send them. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking unsubscribe or emailing us.
- Legal obligation — in rare cases we may need to process your information to comply with a legal requirement.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes.

06 How long we keep your information
- Contact form enquiries: 2 years in case you get in touch again about the same matter.
- Property Passport records: For as long as your account is active, plus up to 2 years after account closure.
- Marketing preferences: Until you change your preference, so we can respect your wishes.
- Analytics data: Anonymised data retained in line with Google’s standard settings (default 26 months).
07 Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights. Exercise any of them by emailing hello@umovingu.io. We will respond within one month.
- Access — Ask us to confirm what information we hold and receive a copy.
- Rectification — Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Erasure — Ask us to delete your information in certain circumstances.
