01  Who we are and what we provide

umovingu Limited is registered in England and Wales, Company No. 13321548, 116 Yardley Road, Birmingham, B27 6LG. We operate the Property Passport platform, which allows homeowners and buyers to build, store and share a record of a property’s documents, certificates and history. Our service is currently in early access. Features are still being developed. We will update these terms as the product evolves.

02  Accepting these terms

By creating an account, submitting a contact form, joining early access, or otherwise using any part of our service, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old to use umovingu.

03  What we provide — and what we do not

umovingu provides a platform to help you organise, store and share property-related documents and information. We are not solicitors, conveyancers, financial advisers, surveyors or estate agents. Nothing in our service constitutes legal, financial, mortgage or property advice.

04  Your account and your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about yourself and your property
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others
• Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised
• Only upload documents and information you have the right to share

You must not use umovingu to misrepresent a property’s condition, store documents belonging to someone else without permission, or for any unlawful purpose.

05  Your content

You own the documents and information you upload. By uploading content, you give us a licence to store, process and share it in accordance with your instructions and these terms. We do not claim ownership of your content. When you delete your account, we will delete your content in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

06  Sharing your Passport

You control who can see your Property Passport and for how long. You can revoke access at any time. We are not responsible for how third parties use the information you choose to share with them. When you transfer your Passport to a new owner on completion, you confirm you have the right to do so and that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

07  Pricing and payment

Early access to umovingu is currently free of charge. We may introduce paid features in the future. If we do, we will give you clear notice before any charges apply and will never charge you without your explicit agreement.

08  Availability and service changes

We aim to keep umovingu available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change or remove features. Where a change significantly affects your use, we will give you reasonable notice.

09  Our liability to you

We are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable, loss caused by your own actions, loss caused by inaccurate information you uploaded, or business losses including lost profits or business interruption. Where our service is provided free of charge, our total liability for any claim is limited to £100. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10  Intellectual property

All content on our website and platform — including text, design, graphics, software and the Property Passport concept — belongs to umovingu Limited or our licensors. The umovingu name, logo and branding are protected. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

11  Closing your account

You can close your account at any time by contacting hello@umovingu.io. We will action your request within 10 working days.

12  Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you have a complaint, please contact us at hello@umovingu.io first. We believe most issues can be resolved with a direct conversation.
